About

I'm Kuroi, an aspiring freelance artist pursuing a degree in Digital Media and Graphic Design. My main specialty is 2D illustration, but I also plan to expand into making animations and VTuber models. I really enjoy drawing characters, throwing them in nice-looking clothes, and coming up with story ideas. I hope to one day reach a point with my skills to tell my own interesting stories with my art and creativity.My main tools for my work are Clip Studio Paint and XP-Pen 15.6.

TERMS OF SERVICE

By commissioning me, you agree to the following:

‣ These terms and conditions are subject to change. I will generally post on social media when they are updated. Please review this page each time you are obtaining a commission from me.‣ My commissions are for Personal Use only unless otherwise discussed. You cannot profit off my work unless coming to a written agreement with me beforehand. (With the exception of work for Streaming/Twitch in which commercial fees are worked into the final cost.)‣ My clients/commissioners DO NOT have the right to mint/sell their commissions for NFT under no circumstances.‣ You acknowledge that I'm a digital illustrator and my work is digital only, meaning there won't be any shipping of physical goods.‣ Finished commissions will be posted onto my social media after I submit them to you. Finished commissions may be used as examples or listed in my portfolio unless otherwise specified.‣ Finished commissions may be posted to other websites by the commissioner with proper credit given.

PAYMENT

‣ I will not begin work on a commission until half of the full payment is received. After the initial sketch is approved, I will request the second half of the full payment.‣ Payment will be sent through Paypal Invoices only. Prices are listed in USD.‣ Prices listed are a baseline and can fluctuate above the list price based on complexity.‣ Additional characters in a single commission order are +50% of the base price.‣ Commissions intended for commercial use, such as streaming, will have +50-100% of the base price added to the final cost as a usage fee (as of commissions taken after 02/20/2022). Commercial fee will depend on the workload of the assigned project‣ Refunds will be available in different percentages depending on the commission's status:
------ ･ Total refund will be only given if I haven't started working on your commission or if I, as the artist, won't be able to complete your order or have taken more than three months.
------ ･ 70% of the total price will be refunded at the sketching phase.
------ ･ 40% of the total price will be refunded at the lining phase.
------ ･ NO refunds will be given in coloring/background phase, or if the commission is finished.

PROCESS

‣ Expect a turnaround time of 2-6 weeks based on commission complexity. Generally, an initial sketch will be provided within the first week of starting the commission.‣ After closing form submissions, I will reach out to those I’ve selected for that batch via the mode of contact listed on the form. This will generally happen within a week.‣ For all commission types, you will receive a sketch for initial approval. If you must request changes, I ask you to do it at this phase.-----‣ At end of each stage of commission, I will send you a WIP screenshot for suggestions and corrections (watermark will be applied). You are free to request screenshots in between these time periods as well.----------‣ Changes requested at this point must be minor. (ex. I forgot a character’s earrings or got a section of coloring wrong. In these cases where there are small things I have missed, I do not mind changing them with no additional charge.) Major changes (ex. Completely altering the character’s body type or changing their clothes) will have a non-refundable fee applied to the final cost depending on the stage of the commission. There will be no major changes made once I’ve started rendering the image.‣ Finished commissions will be sent in their full resolution through the commissioner's preferred mode of contact.

PNG AVATAR

The price of this commission may fluctuate depending on the order, so it is recommended to ask for a quote even if you are getting the standard order. Commercial usage fees are pre-calculated in the price. The commissioner will receive two sprites (idle and talking) unless specified otherwise.Simple PNG Avatars will have one static pose with an open and closing mouth animation and minor facial expression changes. Complex PNG Avatars will have expressive, alternating poses.
